One-Year Limited Jewelry Protection Plan

Plan Price: $39.99 per Order

1. Scope of Coverage

​

Pearlesque Protect (“Plan”) is an optional, one-year limited protection plan offered by Pearlesque LLC (“Pearlesque,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”) for eligible jewelry purchased directly from Pearlesque in the same transaction as the Plan.

Subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions herein, the Plan provides repair or replacement coverage for qualifying accidental damage and defects in materials or workmanship occurring during the Coverage Period.

Coverage extends to all eligible jewelry items included in the original covered order. The Plan does not extend to items purchased in separate transactions.

 

2. Coverage Period

​

Coverage begins on the original purchase date and continues for twelve (12) consecutive months thereafter.

Coverage is limited to the original purchaser and is nontransferable. The purchase of additional jewelry does not extend or renew the Coverage Period.

 

3. Covered Events

​

Subject to Pearlesque's inspection and approval, eligible claims may include:

  • Accidental breakage of jewelry resulting from ordinary handling or wear.

  • Broken clasps, chains, settings, or other structural components.

  • Accidental loosening or detachment of gemstones, provided the affected gemstone is recovered and submitted with the jewelry.

  • Defects in materials or workmanship affecting the structural integrity or intended function of the jewelry.

Coverage applies only to qualifying events occurring during the Coverage Period.

 

4. Exclusions

This Plan does not cover:

  • Loss, theft, disappearance, or misplacement of jewelry or gemstones.

  • Missing gemstones that cannot be recovered and submitted for inspection.

  • Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, discoloration, tarnishing, or gradual fading of plating.

  • Normal wear and tear that does not impair the item's structural integrity or functionality.

  • Damage caused by intentional acts, misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper storage.

  • Damage resulting from exposure to chemicals, perfumes, cleaning agents, or other corrosive substances.

  • Unauthorized repairs, alterations, resizing, or modifications.

  • Damage existing before the Plan's effective date.

  • Consequential, incidental, or indirect losses, except where prohibited by applicable law.

 

5. Claims Procedure

To request coverage, the purchaser must contact Pearlesque customer support during the Coverage Period and provide:

  1. The original order number and proof of purchase.

  2. A description of the incident or defect.

  3. Clear photographs showing the affected jewelry.

  4. The jewelry and any recovered components, if requested for inspection.

Pearlesque may require the item to be returned for examination before approving a claim. Return instructions will be provided by customer support.

Submission of a claim does not guarantee approval.

6. Repair or Replacement

For an approved claim, Pearlesque may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:

  • Repair the affected item;

  • Replace it with the same item, if available; or

  • Provide a comparable replacement of similar style, materials, and retail value.

If repair or replacement is unavailable, Pearlesque may provide a refund or store credit up to the original purchase price of the affected item, excluding taxes and shipping, subject to applicable law.

The aggregate value of benefits provided under this Plan shall not exceed the original purchase price of the eligible jewelry covered by the Plan. The Plan fee is not included in this coverage limit.

 

7. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pearlesque's obligations under this Plan are limited to the remedies expressly described herein.

Pearlesque shall not be responsible for sentimental value, loss of use, loss of opportunity, or other indirect or consequential damages, except where such limitations are prohibited by law.

 

8. Cancellation and Refunds

​

The purchaser may request cancellation of the Plan within thirty (30) days of purchase, provided no claim has been submitted or paid. An eligible cancellation within this period will result in a refund of the Plan fee.

​

Cancellation rights, refunds, and any applicable fees shall otherwise be governed by mandatory state law.

​

9. Additional Terms

  • The Plan applies exclusively to eligible jewelry identified in the original covered order.

  • Coverage does not constitute a representation that jewelry is indestructible or immune to damage.

  • Pearlesque reserves the right to request reasonable documentation to verify claim eligibility.

  • Any provision determined unenforceable shall be limited to the extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.

  • This Plan does not limit any nonwaivable rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
